Since 1998, Jetcar has been gathering expertise in the development of fuel efficient vehicles. They first constructed the archetype of Jetcar.

In 2001/02 they hired 4 new employees in the domain of automobile development. Their research and development engineers advanced and transformed the first developmental stage of Jetcar into their latest model Jetcar 2.5. A cabriolet version of Jetcar 2.5 will be available soon.

Jetcar 1.5 is currently in the developing stages. This car has the same body and an 8kW diesel engine. The anticipated consumption is 1,5 l per 100 km. It weighs 390 kg and will therefore be taxed very advantageously as a light motorcar.
