I LOVE THIS AUTOMOBILE!
A family member owned a tantalizing red version and it became more than a set-o-wheels -- it represented 'Great Fun'; I vividly recall being picked up from a friend's home in this car - the top down, music wafting from the radio - and when I opened the door, my car seat was overflowing with birthday gifts. What pure delight! Every spin in that car -- and there were plenty -- was magic-time.

The 'dash design' I could still sketch today... I can close my eyes and still experience the view (thro the windshield) over the flow of the hood and the flaired wheelwells. Later, the sculptural hood-lines were brought back to mind in an 1960s era XKE Jag I had looong ago (my legs were never really long enough for the easy reach of the clutch & gas) as well as the "73 Vette (a lovely designed shark) I own today. These cars are ROLL'N ART!

There are some vehicles that hold more meaning than mere transportation - and if you do not understand this statement, well - it can't be explained; You either get this concept - or not!
