Wiesmann is a car manufacturer founded in 1988 in Dülmen, Germany.
The company was founded in 1988 by the brothers Martin Wiesmann (graduate engineer) and Friedhelm Wiesmann (bachelor of commerce). The cars are made by hand in manufactured by hand in Dulmen.
Using in-house blueprints, about 100 employees participate in the manufacturing process of the Wiesmann sports car at the manufacturing plant in Dülmen.
The company utilized dealership bases in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
In August of 2013, Wiesmann has publicly filed for bankruptcy in a German district court in Munster.
