Established by brothers Michael and Thomas Schnarr back in 1984, Cargraphic is a highly regarded name in the tuning business. Boasting an impressive pedigree, the company originally started out racing British classics and sportscars, winning the FIA Historic GT Championship in 1992.
Cargraphic's association with Porsche began in the mid 80's, where the company's activities quickly expanded into the production of tuning merchandise for other sportscar markets. "We decided to start developing tuning products for Porsche as we felt there was nothing reasonable on the market. We wanted to do it right and from 1989 onwards we offered a complete range of Porsche parts", said Thomas. The early nineties also gave rise to Cargraphics manufacturing of stainless steel sports exhausts. Here they teamed up with a leading manufacturer in the south west of England, who they later bought in 1997.
Towards the end of the nineties the Cargraphic team came up with its own three-piece wheel program, available between 18 and 22 inches in heat treated and forged cast. These wheels have now become renowned for being some of the finest on today's market.
Customers choosing products for their road cars can expect to directly reap the rewards of Cargraphic's success and experience in racing. The stringent standards of development and technology needed to succeed in this competitive environment filter down directly to its clients. In talking to Thomas you get an overwhelming sense of Cargraphic's commitment to quality and acute engineering standards. "Our products are both performance and quality orientated. Our machines are fully OBII compliant and our systems are all fully adjustable and highly engineered", exclaimed Thomas.
Cargraphic is held in high esteem both in racing and tuning circles, with its prized reputation having been deservedly earned. Teaming up with RDM-Racing and FMT, a swiss based team, Cargraphic have achieved tremendous success, winning the DMSB Supersprint championship with RDM-Racing, as well racking up several wins of the long distance/endurance championships at GTP, Porsche Sports Cup, and the Nurburgring. "All our products are approved in racing and the technology flows from race to road" said Thomas.
Cargraphic's product range is impressive and is constantly evolving. "We are constantly building new products and we now offer packages for the majority of the prestige sports car market", mentions Thomas. Whether it's a set of 19" wheels and tyres, or an exhaust system for your beloved motor, you can be assured that you will be making a wise choice with Cargraphic.
From its humble beginnings Cargraphic has expanded to become a highly respected tuning name synonymous with not only Porsche. With distributors across the globe Cargraphic looks set to keep offering its proven performance products to ever expanding markets and customers. "We are experiencing strong sales everywhere, with the markets in the Eastern countries ever developing" said Thomas.
Having taken delivery of their 997 GT2 you can expect to see a fully converted version debuting at the Essen Motorshow, and expect it to be rearing its head at the Tuner GP where Cargraphic have already enjoyed plenty of success winning the 2005, 2006 and 2007 competitions with their mind-blowing 997GT3 RSC 4.0.
