The 1995 Mercedes-Benz VRC (versatile automotive concepts) Vario Research Car premiered at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show and showcased four cars in one.
The Vario Research Car was the first research car from Mercedes-Benz featuring drive-by-wire technology. The bodywork is made of carbon-fiber reinforced plastic.
