GM Robonaut 2.

Robonaut 2 or R2, the humanoid robot developed by engineers from NASA’s Johnson Space Center and General Motors will appear in Detroit for the first time on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a live demonstration of its abilities at the GM Technical Center, R&D Auditorium, at 30400 Mound Rd, Warren, MI.

Robonaut2, developed as part of a joint technology partnership between General Motors and NASA, culminates three years of work by both partners in developing advanced dexterous humanoid robots.
