Trexa, Based in Los Angeles, California, produces electric drive vehicle platforms and showed their first proof of concept in 2006, followed by the second proof of concept in 2008.

The launched the platform concept in January of 2009 with plans for a production prototype built in 2011 and manufactured in the USA.
Battery Engineering Team designed the Edrive Plug-in Hybrid System, first demonstrated in 2005.
Partners and application developers include large commercial vehicle OEMS, the racing industry and University R&D Center for Robotics.
Production platforms will be made available to manufacturers in 2011, and to independent car builders in 2012.
