Marussia was founded in 2007 by former racing driver Nikolay Fomenko, renowned brand strategist Efim Ostrovsky and award-winning technology entrepreneur Andrey Cheglakov.

The creation of Russia’s first high-performance car company is a remarkable story of vision, focus, innovation and ambition.

Their first vehicle was the dramatic mid-engined B1 – unveiled in Moscow during 2008, they then followed this with the world launch of the overtly aggressive Marussia B2 at the prestigious Frankfurt International Motor Show in the autumn of 2009 indicating that the Russian supercar had arrived.
