The Searchmont Motor Company had its general offices and factory at 1230 Orkney Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1900 to 1904.

They also had a Chicago agent located at 522 Rialto Building, and one in New York at 50 W. 43rd Street. In 1904, they successfully ran two Searchmont wagons in the New York-Buffalo endurance Contest. These vehicles were equipped with a 12 HP double cyilnder gasoline engine with a tank capacity of 150 miles. They even came with a one year warranty.
