Buire was located in Lyon, France and was a typical french car maker with local relevance only from 1904-1930.

Buire exported quite a lot of cars to England, and the first 1904-1905 Buire cars had a brass emblem. Later there was a round enameled emblem on the radiator showing the coat of arms of the town Lyon, a lion, and the silhouette from an early automobile.
