Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen GmbH is a third party tuning company based in Buchloe, in the Ostallg'u district of Bavaria, Germany specialising in BMW cars.
The founder of Alpina is Burkard Bovensiepen, who was born in 1936 and is still the CEO. BMW vehicles with Alpina engineering retain their entire BMW warranty. A distinctive feature of the cars are their 20 spoke alloy wheels.
As a car manufacturer in its own right since 1983, Alpina has partnered with BMW on and off the racing circuit for more than 40 years, collaborating on technological development and producing a steady stream of groundbreaking innovations which are reflected in their automobiles.
