1948 Playboy Convertible, USA.
Playboy nearly outlasted the flood of short-lived post-war American makes.
The company struggled valiantly and managed to manufacture 97 examples of a compact three-seater convertible before bankruptcy.
It was driven by a 40bhp 4-cylinder Continental (originally Hercules) L-head engine, had an automatic transmission and a 7 ft. 6in. wheelbase. Price was $985.
