History.
1878. Jacob Bots starts a timber business in Valkenswaard.
1910. His son Simon introduces the name BOVA, derived from Bots Valkenswaard.
1931. Building of the first coach body.
1969. Introduction of the Benelux, a self-supporting (integral coach).
1999. Introduction of the Magiq.
2003. BOVA becomes part of the VDL Groep, and continues under the name VDL BOVA.
2004. Introduction of the Synergy.
2005. Introduction of the Lexio.
2005. Delivery of the 8,000th Futura.
