It is now dedicated to designing, manufacturing and selling compact industrial vehicles, chiefly for use in municipal services, industry, green spaces, construction, civil works, agriculture and mining.

The history of AUSA dates back to 1956, when three friends founded a car factory. Since then, their history has been characterised by the search for quality and innovation in all of the products they have launched.

In 1961, the first compact dumper went into production and becomes the top selling and most reliable dumper on the market.

In 1967, AUSA presents the first compact rough terrain forklift in the world.

In 1969, AUSA begins the internationalization process creating the first subsidiary in Perpignan.

2006 marks the company's 50th anniversary.
