Aided by direct fuel injection, this ten-cylinder engine generates 320 kW (435 hp) and 540 Nm (398.28 lb-ft) of torque.

The highly cultured and sonorous engine provide for breathtaking performance: The S6 sedan sprints to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 5.2 seconds.

The transmission of power is managed by a six-speed tiptronic system, optimized to rapid gear-shifting. The servotronic steering system is very direct; behind the 18-inch wheels sit large, ventilated brake discs.
