The Ohio Electric Car Company was located at 1529 West Bancroft Street in Toledo, Ohio. By 1917, their exclusive and patented combination of magnetic control and magnetic brake, with double drive had entered its 7th year of supremacy.

Their 1913 ad suggested it was "of Viennese inspiration" and was promoted as "The only car for the woman of refinement today".

1916 New Ohio Quarters. Realizing the value of an attractive show room and incidentally its overhead expense, E.C. Scheffler, the new manager of the Chicago Branch of the Ohio Electric Car Company, has his new premises, 2634 Michigan Avenue, working for him day and night. The brilliantly lighted interior shows off the new Ohio car to splendid advantage at night and makes an attractive picture bound to arrest one's attention even among the well lighted show rooms of Motor Row.

The new location has the advantage of two windows exposures. The salesrooms are large and airy, painted in a cheerful cream tint. The service department in the rear is large and commodious.
