Volta Electric revealed an Electric Car Concept in 1963 in three styles. A coupe, a station wagon and a pickup. It was powered by a General Electric traction motor with four heavy duty batteries, which could be recharged at home by means of a 50 ft. self-winding cord. It had a fiberglass body by Owens Corning.

The concept claimed to have a top speed off 45 MPH with 60 to 100 miles of continuous run. A two, or four speed hydraulic transmission allows for fast and smooth pickup.
