Volteis made France's first electric 4x4, the V+, designed by Philippe Starck debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012.

The vehicle is more of a golf cart than a car, and weighs 1600-pound because it is mostly composed entirely of aluminum, with a full windshield, fabric roof, and no doors.
