Kia E emblem.
Kia revealed the “E” emblem on a Stinger at the Seoul Motor Show in 2017.
Kia E emblem.
Rumors began to suggest that it was a tease for an upscale brand to Kia (like Lexus is to Toyota), or an electric sub-brand.
The meaning however - according to Kia is that it is for
“Engineered by Excellence” and that it “symbolises maximised performance driving with the engine arrangement of rear-wheel drive”.
The “E” emblem will be limited to the Korean market exclusively, and will only be worn by Stingers delivered in Kia’s home market of Korea, with the rest of the world getting the standard ‘KIA’ badge, at least for now.
