Barré's first automobile was presented in December 1899 at the Paris Motor Show. It was founded by Gaston Barré and is a typical example of a French provincial marque, and hundreds of these were produced before 1914. Located in Niort in the Poitou-Charentes region, this company produced cars from 1900 until 1930.
